I started making animal masks in 2010. It started with a dream I had about a wolf face and has since evolved into a bird form and a polar bear form. I’m currently working on a lion mask.

All three of the current masks are made from recycled clothes hangar wire with an acrylic felt base. They then have added embroidered details. It’s all made painstakingly slowly by hand and is my second real set of pieces designed to exhibit together.

I’m interested in custom masks but haven’t made the leap into offering them yet. Maybe soon.
